Background
Peter Karounos is an organisational consultant with over 5 years experience in business consulting. Peter’s consulting expertise is focused in the areas of organisational development, recruitment, career management, management consulting and training. Peter brings to businesses comprehensive knowledge of and experience in design, delivery, facilitation and management of business solutions that build and sustain individual and organisational performance.
Experience
Peter’s experience is supported by a strong theoretical knowledge of individual and organisational development & performance principles, having completed his Masters of Psychology in Organisational and Human Factors at the University of Adelaide. Peter commenced his career with Hudson as an Associate Consultant within the Hudson Sales & Marketing Recruitment Practice. His role included attracting, sourcing, assessing and managing candidates for management to senior management and director level roles. This included selling recruitment solutions through to presentation of shortlist candidates to clients.
Following his successful contribution to the recruitment side of the business, Peter then moved into the Human Resource Consulting Practice of Hudson as a Senior Consultant. His role included designing and delivering on organisational and people development solutions, including organisational and climate survey, competency development, role profiling, recruitment skills training and career management.
Peter built on his experience with Hudson, establishing his business consulting and recruitment services company, Leapfrog Solutions. Following his role as Director for Leapfrog Solutions, Peter joined Enterprise Development Network where he is currently Senior Consultant. His role includes facilitating workshops and programs on leadership development and providing individual performance and leadership coaching around key areas including safety, project management, customer service, conflict management and negotiation skills.
